X&M @ AFRICA DOWN UNDER MINING CONFERENCE 2018 - Perth
The African Down Under Mining conference held in Perth, was organised by Paydirt from the 29th to the 31st of August. It has been few years since the downturn in the Mineral sector that we haven't saw that conference as busy as this year. Interest for exploring and developing mines in Africa and particularly West Africa is clearly back on track. X&M Suppliers Ivory Coast was the only Ivorian supply business to have a booth at the conference, promotting local content and local capacities to supply Exploration, Drilling and Mining companies in West Africa. X&M shared the booth with one of its partner, OREAS, world leading Australian CRM (standards) manufacturer that X&M distribute in West Africa from Abidjan. X&M is holding the largest stock of standards in West Africa which can be shipped quickly to any Exploration of Mining sites. The X&M and OREAS partnership is a perfect example of a win win collaboration to build capacity in West Africa.
The Director of Mine of Ivory Coast, Ibrahima Coulibaly as well as quite a few Ivorian entrepreneurs were representing Ivory Coast at the conference. Ivory Coast as the spotlight from Australians when it comes to exploration and we hope that the granting of exploration permits in Ivory Coast is going to ramp up so that massive foreign investment gets pumped into exploring ground rapidly.
